We’ve been working on jobs.ly for better user experience, adding more features, and fixing some issues. Here you can read about website features, get updates about the recently added and what’s being planned ahead.

jobs.ly in Arabic:

We’re pleased to introduce the Arabic version of jobs.ly: Using the same account Companies now can publish thier job listings in English and/or  Arabic, and Jobseekers can post their CVs in English and/or Arabic. To visit the Arabic version: jobs.ly/ar/  

For Companies:

  • Add/Edit a company overview in the profile page.
  • Add your company logo in the profile page.
  • Specify company location on the map to view them in the listing details page.
  • Post and manage many job listings.
  • New listings posts are added to jobs.ly Twitter account, where people interested can get updates about new jobs listed in jobs.ly.
  • New listings posts added to jobs.ly Facebook page. (NEW)
  • Number of visits/views of a job listing.
  • Dashboard to get an overview about your account, and quickly access various tools, like Adding new Job. (NEW)
  • Manage and view applicants list.
  • List applications by Job listing.
  • Receive notifications by email when new applications are submitted.
  • Email-like interface for applicants list, where new applications can be reviewed and marked as read for easier browsing. (NEW)
  • View number of applicants per listing for company listing, and colored red when there’s new applicants. (NEW)
  • Show only applicants applied  to a job listing by clicking the number of applicants from Your Listing page.
  • View CVs added to jobs.ly.
  • Filter CVs by Categories.
  • Filter CVs by Locations.
  • Filter CVs by Tags (Tags are skills that jobseekers have).
  • Search through CVs by search tool.
  • Featured Links: for companies interested in keeping their listing visible by jobseekers for longer periods, they can contact us for adding their listings to the Featured Links, where they will stay in the top for a given period of time. (NEW)
  • Jobs Widget: Place your listings into your company website, where website visitors can see your latest job listings, and can visit jobs.ly for details and to apply for them. (Planned)

For Jobseekers:

  • Update your information and picture in the profile page.
  • Add and manage your CVs.
  • CVs are categorized by category, location, and tags for easier browsing by companies.
  • CVs visible by all jobs.ly user accounts (user must be logged in), or only by companies you applied for their job listings.  
  • For those who have prepared their CVs, you can upload your doc or pdf CV file. (NEW)
  • Recent listings added since last login that match your CVs categories. (NEW)
  • Browse jobs by category.
  • Browse jobs by locations.
  • Apply to job listing easily by one click.
  • Dashboard to get an overview about your account, and quickly access various tools, like Adding new CV. (NEW)
  • Manage your applications.

General Features:

  • RSS Feed for job listings: get latest updates by subscribing to RSS feed, you can select certain category or location to get updates for the specific category or location.
