Terms of use

1.Using jobs.ly

jobs.ly is a product of Libyan Spider (شركة العنكبوت الليبي), which runs it. In these terms, "we" means Libyan Spider. By using jobs.ly you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2.Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use jobs.ly. Give accurate information and keep access to your phone or email secure. One organization account per business. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

3.Job seekers

jobs.ly is free for job seekers: searching, applying and building a CV never cost anything. Your CV must be truthful. Only apply to jobs you are genuinely interested in.

4.Employers

• Holdings / groups: add a subsidiary identity or recruit for it only with its authorization. Group verification does not automatically verify subsidiaries. Share candidate-review links only with the subsidiary involved in that vacancy, obtain separate permission before contacting candidates about other jobs, and obtain the contact person’s consent before sending monthly reports.
• Post only real, open jobs that you are allowed to hire for. Posting is free on the Free plan, up to the number of open jobs shown on the plans page.
• Do not ask applicants for money, and do not use applicants' information for anything other than hiring. Messages to applicants must be only about the job they applied for; until your organization is verified, they can't contain links or phone numbers.
• Recruitment agencies may post for a client only with that client's permission, and must never charge job seekers any fee (registration, CV, training or placement).
• Recruitment agencies: add a client organization (its name, logo and page) only with that client's permission, and hand its page over if the organization asks. Shortlist links go only to the client the job is for, and candidates' contact details stay with the agency. The licence number you give must be your own and valid.
• Saved candidates (agencies and organizations): contact them only about real jobs, and stop when they ask. Hiring managers you invite see only the jobs you add them to, and only to give their opinion.
• Review links (“Ask your manager”) are only for people inside your organization who take part in the hiring decision; do not forward them to anyone else. Monthly reports emailed to a client's contact person contain totals only (no candidate names), and are sent only with that person's agreement.
• Do not post jobs that discriminate based on religion, tribe, origin or disability.

5.Paid plans

• Business, Holding and Agency plans are paid in advance for the months you choose, at the price shown on the plans page when you pay. There is no automatic renewal. The Holding plan is for verified holding/group accounts. Plan limits are shared across the account and its subsidiary or client jobs.
• When online payment is available, your plan starts after the payment provider confirms payment. A bank transfer starts it after our team confirms receipt of the money. The Agency plan is only for recruitment agencies verified by jobs.ly.
• Moving to a bigger plan before yours ends turns the time left into time on the new plan at the same value. When a plan ends you are back on Free: nothing is deleted, but you can't add more than Free allows (open jobs, team members, paid extras) until you pay again.
• If you paid but your plan did not start, or you were charged twice, contact us and we will fix it. Online payments can't be sent back in Libya, so they are refunded as credit: the amount is added to your plan as extra time. A bank transfer can be refunded by bank transfer to the account it came from, or as credit if you prefer.

6.Content and AI

• You are responsible for what you post. AI-written text is a suggestion: review it before publishing.
• We may remove jobs or content that are fake, misleading, offensive or illegal.

7.Our responsibility

jobs.ly connects job seekers and employers. We are not a party to any job offer or employment, and we cannot guarantee a job or a hire. Always be careful and never pay to get a job.

We may update these terms. We will show the date of the last update on this page.
