In short
- jobs.ly is free for job seekers. Employers can post on the Free plan or pay for more.
- You must be 18 or older. You accept these terms when you create an account, and we record when and which version.
- Be truthful: a real CV, real open jobs, and one account per organization.
- Never pay to get a job. Employers may not ask applicants for money, and agencies may never charge job seekers recruitment fees or related costs.
- Employers use applicants' information only for hiring, and keep it safe.
- We check jobs, and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms. You can ask us to review a decision.
- We connect people and jobs, but we are not a party to any hiring and can't guarantee a job. Libyan law applies, and the Arabic text prevails.
A summary to help you read; the full text below is what applies.

1.About these terms
- Who we are: jobs.ly is a product of Libyan Spider (شركة العنكبوت الليبي), which runs it (libyanspider.com). In these terms, "we" means Libyan Spider. Contact: hello@jobs.ly.
- Accepting these terms: you accept them when you create an account, and we record the date and the version you accepted. If you use jobs.ly without an account, for example to search for jobs or to open a client page or shortlist link someone sent you, these terms also apply. If you don't agree, don't use jobs.ly.
- Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
2.Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account; by signing up you confirm that you are.
- Give accurate information, keep access to your phone or email secure, and don't let others use your account. An organization adds each member of its team with their own account.
- One account per organization, with separate personal sign-ins for team members. A branch that hires independently may have its own page. Agencies may manage multiple authorized clients, and groups may manage authorized subsidiaries through their shared account; these managed records are not prohibited duplicate accounts. Plan limits still apply.
3.Job seekers
- jobs.ly is free for job seekers: searching, applying and building a CV never cost anything.
- Your CV must be truthful, and apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in.
- Never pay anyone to get a job, and report any request for money to us.
4.Employers
- Post only real, open jobs that you are allowed to hire for. Posting is free on the Free plan, up to the number of open jobs shown on the plans page.
- Don't ask applicants for money. Messages to applicants must be only about the job they applied for; until your organization is verified, they can't contain links or phone numbers.
- Don't post jobs or screening questions that discriminate based on sex, age, religion, tribe, origin, nationality, marital status, disability or health, unless the law allows that requirement for that job.
- Applicants’ data: keep it secure and use it only for authorized hiring. Share it only with authorized people involved in that hiring decision. Delete downloaded recruitment copies when no longer needed and normally within 12 months after the job closes. A separately consented talent-pool record may be kept for its stated purpose while that permission remains valid. Keep only the minimum records needed for a specific legal, accounting or dispute obligation for the applicable period, with restricted access; this does not permit continued recruitment contact. jobs.ly’s own retention periods and access limits remain those in the Privacy policy.
- Review links (“Ask your manager”) are only for authorized people taking part in that hiring decision, including an authorized central HR team for the relevant group company. Do not forward them beyond those reviewers. Use the client-sharing tools for agency clients and subsidiaries; each reviewer sees only the information permitted by their role and the candidate’s choices.
- Saved candidates: contact them only about real jobs, and stop when they ask.
5.Recruitment agencies and groups
- Working together: agencies may recruit for authorized clients, and company groups may coordinate hiring for their authorized subsidiaries through a central team. You may also use other recruitment services. Your agreements with clients remain yours; jobs.ly does not acquire an exclusive relationship with them or rights over candidates.
- Verification: recruitment agencies must be verified by jobs.ly and provide their own valid licence number before publishing. The Agency plan is for verified agencies. We accept appropriate evidence of authority, such as an agreement, an authorization letter or confirmation from an authorized representative. For groups, a documented group-wide mandate may cover the named subsidiaries; it does not automatically give each subsidiary a verified badge. We may ask for further evidence if authority is unclear or disputed.
- No candidate fees: agencies must not charge job seekers, directly or indirectly, for recruitment, access to a vacancy or placement, including registration, CV or training charges linked to obtaining the job. Fees charged to the hiring client are agreed between that client and the agency.
- Recruiting and branding: adding a client or subsidiary confirms that you are authorized to recruit for it. Permission to publish its name, logo or public page is separate and is needed only when you make that identity public. You may keep a client confidential while recruiting; your agency remains identified. Keep your authority current and stop recruiting for the organization if it withdraws it.
- Sharing candidates: send shortlist links and client pages only to authorized people taking part in hiring for the client or subsidiary concerned, including a properly authorized central HR team. Follow the candidate permissions and access controls described in our Privacy policy. Obtain separate permission for other-job contact; monthly reports require the contact person’s agreement and contain totals, not candidate names.
- Public page and private records: the organization may manage its public identity without taking over your recruitment work. A page transfer does not transfer applicants, notes, client contacts, fees or invoices to the organization, settle a fee dispute, or end a valid recruitment mandate. Access to candidate information always remains subject to the candidate’s choices and our Privacy policy.
- Page handover: our staff check the requester’s identity and authority to represent the organization; a work email is evidence, not automatic approval. We notify the agency in writing and normally allow at least 10 working days (Libya calendar) before transfer. The agency may agree to an earlier transfer or raise an objection or request more time before the deadline. We review disputed authority before completing the transfer and may pause and restart the notice where justified. Urgent protective action may be taken for fraud, security or a legal requirement.
- After handover: only the public profile information and page address move, or the address redirects to the organization’s existing page. The agency keeps its client record privately and can continue authorized recruitment; open jobs, applications and interviews are not closed merely because the page moved. The agency’s structured client identity becomes confidential on its jobs and its old client careers widget stops displaying jobs; names already written in advert text must be reviewed separately. Client review access and reports remain subject to their existing permissions. If recruitment authority ends, the agency must stop new recruitment and close affected vacancies; we may restrict them if necessary.
- Fees and confidentiality: agencies agree their client fees, guarantees and invoices directly with clients. jobs.ly is not a party to these agreements and does not collect those fees. We do not disclose your private client lists, commercial terms or recruitment records to another organization except as authorized, needed to provide or protect the service, or required by law, as explained in our Privacy policy.
6.Paid plans
- Plans: Business, Holding and Agency plans are paid in advance for the months you choose, at the price shown on the plans page when you pay. There is no automatic renewal. The Holding plan is for verified groups, and the Agency plan for verified recruitment agencies. Plan limits count the account's own jobs and its clients' or group companies' jobs together.
- Buying: only the account owner can buy a plan. The plans page shows the ways to pay that are available now. Where it asks you to write to us, write to hello@jobs.ly, and your plan starts when our team confirms your payment. An online payment starts it once the payment provider confirms it, and a bank transfer once our team confirms that the money arrived. Plan invoices are issued by Libyan Spider.
- Prices: launch prices apply for the period stated on the plans page, and paying for 12 months costs the price of 10. We may give free or discounted months, for example to partner agencies, with their conditions in writing.
- Changing plans: moving to a bigger plan before yours ends turns the time left into time on the new plan at the same value. You can't buy a smaller plan while a bigger one still has time left. When a plan ends you are back on Free: nothing is deleted, but you can't add more than Free allows (open jobs, team members, paid extras) until you pay again.
- Refunds: contact us for a duplicate charge, a paid plan that did not start, or a material failure attributable to jobs.ly. We check the payment and provide an appropriate refund for the duplicate or undelivered part. Where the original payment method cannot return funds, we arrange an available alternative with the verified payer, such as a bank transfer; subscription credit is offered only if you choose it. We may ask for payment and recipient verification to prevent fraud. Voluntary cancellation does not normally refund used or remaining prepaid time. Nothing here removes a refund right required by law.
7.Content and our permission to use it
- Your content: you keep the rights to what you post (job posts, organization details, logos, CVs). So that jobs.ly can work, you allow Libyan Spider, free of charge and while the content is on jobs.ly, to store, show, translate, format and share it on jobs.ly, in emails and notifications, and in share pictures.
- Job posts: for job posts and organization names and logos, this permission also covers our public jobs API, feeds and careers widget, search engines such as Google, and job-search websites that receive our feeds. You can stop sending your jobs to job-search websites at any time in Organization settings (“Your jobs on other job sites”). You confirm that you have the right to give us this permission, including for logos and texts that belong to others.
- Imported jobs: some jobs on jobs.ly are copied from other websites and public pages, with a link to the original where there is one, and their organization pages have no owner until the organization asks for them (“Is this your organization?”). If a job or page uses your content or your organization's name without permission, report it on the page or write to hello@jobs.ly, and we will review it.
- Responsibility: you are responsible for what you post. AI-written text is a suggestion: review it before publishing. AI helps sort applicants and check jobs for fraud; employers and our staff make the decisions.
- Our content: jobs.ly's articles, help pages, name and brand belong to Libyan Spider. Our public jobs API and feeds may be used under the rules in our developer centre; don't copy jobs.ly's content or people's CVs in bulk in any other way.
8.What is not allowed
- Don't use jobs.ly to deceive people, to take money from job seekers, to send spam, or to collect people's information for anything other than hiring.
- Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, to disrupt jobs.ly, or to get around its limits and checks.
9.Checks, removals and suspension
- Before publishing: before an employer's first job is published, our staff check the organization and its authority to recruit. Recruitment agencies must also be verified and give their licence number.
- Holding a job: we may hold a job for review before or after it is published when our rules or AI checks find signs of fraud, fees, false information or discrimination. AI alone never rejects a job; our staff decide.
- Removal and suspension: we use a restriction proportionate to the issue, such as holding the affected job or restricting the responsible user where sufficient. For an ordinary correctable breach, we normally explain it and give a reasonable opportunity to fix it before broader suspension. Fraud, serious privacy or security risks, repeated breaches or legal requirements may require immediate action. Suspending an owner account also suspends its organization, hides its jobs and cancels upcoming interviews; applicants are told. We explain the reason unless doing so would enable fraud or is prohibited by law. A successful appeal includes reviewing affected jobs, interviews and paid time; cancelled interviews may need to be rebooked.
- Reports: you can report a job, an organization page, a public CV, a message or an imported job with the report button on it. We review scam reports first.
- If you disagree: reply to our message or write to hello@jobs.ly. We will review the decision again and tell you the result.
10.Our role and responsibility
- Our role: jobs.ly connects job seekers and employers. We are not a party to any job offer or employment, and we can't guarantee a job or a hire. Interview times, offer letters, offers and replies recorded on jobs.ly are between the employer and the applicant. Always be careful, and never pay to get a job.
- Availability: we work to keep jobs.ly available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We don't guarantee that it will always work without interruption or errors, or that information users post is correct.
- Liability: as far as the law allows, Libyan Spider is not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by other users' content or conduct (for example a fake job or an employer's hiring decision). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or gross negligence.
11.Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time from your CV page or Organization settings. Our Privacy policy explains what is deleted at once, what stays for a limited time, and when deletion has to wait.
- We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Paid time isn't refunded when we close an account for that reason.
- Accounts unused for 24 months may be deleted after notices, as our Privacy policy describes.
12.Law, courts and language
- These terms are governed by Libyan law, and the competent courts of Tripoli decide disputes.
- These terms are written in Arabic and English. If the two texts differ, the Arabic text applies.
13.Reporting a security problem
If you find a security problem in jobs.ly, write to security@jobs.ly with the details. Don't access more information than you need to show the problem, don't disrupt the service, and give us time to fix it before telling others.
14.Changes to these terms
We keep earlier versions and record acceptance of material changes. For future changes that increase your obligations or reduce paid benefits, we normally give at least 30 days’ advance notice on the site or by email and state when they take effect. An already-paid period keeps its agreed price and plan limits. Changes required urgently by law or to protect security may take effect sooner, with an explanation where permitted. We ask account holders to accept a new material version. If you decline a materially adverse change that we must apply during your paid period, contact us to close the service and arrange an appropriate refund for the unused affected period, subject to applicable law. You can request your available data before closing your account, subject to privacy and retention limits.
