Event Venue Decor Engineer

Job Title: Event Venue Decor Design Engineer

General Job Objective:

Planning, executing, and managing decorative designs for event and occasion venues (weddings, conferences, private parties) in line with clients' expectations, enhancing the venue's visual identity, and delivering exceptional visual experiences that achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and Design:

• Studying clients' requirements and specific needs for the occasion, and presenting innovative ideas and proposals that fit the budget and space.
• Preparing three-dimensional (3D) designs and mood boards to present visual concepts and ideas to clients before execution.
• Selecting colors, furniture, fabrics, lighting, flowers, and accessories in accordance with the theme of the occasion (classic, modern, royal, etc.).

2. Coordination and On-Site Supervision:

• Directly supervising preparation, installation, and dismantling operations within the hall to ensure execution matches the approved design.
• Arranging spaces in a way that guarantees smooth movement and provides the best experience for attendees (layout of tables, stage/kosha, hall entrance, aisles).
• Arranging lighting and crafting visual effects in coordination with sound and lighting technicians to highlight decorative aesthetics.

3. Supplier and Procurement Management:

• Communicating and negotiating with suppliers and service providers (flower, furniture, lighting, and fabric suppliers).
• Following up on the quality of supplied materials and ensuring they are delivered on approved schedules.
• Managing the decor budget and allocating costs in a way that guarantees the highest quality at the best cost.

4. Development and Innovation:

• Following up on the latest global trends and styles in the world of party and event decor and applying them creatively.
• Developing catalogs and presentation models for the venue to attract new clients.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Applied Arts.
• Work Experience: Experience of not less than 2 - 4 years in the field of wedding and event venue design and decor.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in architectural and interior design software such as: AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit or rendering software (V-Ray / Lumion).
• A deep understanding of lighting distribution management, color theory, and flower and material coordination.
