Emergency Nursing Manager

Apex Libya seeks an Emergency Nursing Manager (173156) in Libya, with 24-hour accountability for the nursing unit and safe, patient- and family-centred care under Elegancia nursing standards and JCI requirements. No city, employment type, pay or deadline is stated.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing/support teamwork, assess patient acuity and review care-delivery and work-allocation models. Plan staffing, skills and rosters as demand changes.
• Provide clinical and operational advice, interview/select staff, manage performance and corrective action, and maintain clinical/management development through learning and professional literature.
• Align policies with hospital strategy, service delivery and regulation. Implement evidence-based, holistic care and effective communication with patients, families and colleagues.
• Support practice changes and risk management, and produce accurate, timely reports.
• Contribute to short/medium-term departmental plans and annual business plans supporting strategic and financial objectives.

• Bachelor’s in nursing and at least 8 years in nursing, including 4 years managing emergency nursing care. At least 2 years in the GCC is preferred.
• Emergency-department commissioning experience is highly desirable; GCC emergency-department licensing experience is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of acute-care accreditation, particularly JCI.
• Ability to prioritize concurrent responsibilities, complete accurate work on time, safeguard medical/financial/legal information, communicate clearly and handle difficult situations professionally.
• ERP knowledge, preferably functional SAP skills.
• Level 4 competencies in advanced assessment, crisis management, regulatory compliance, clinical protocols and evidence-based practice; team-building, direction-setting, leadership, quality, resilience, adaptability and AI fluency are also listed.
