The organization is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the team and assist in managing day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Record daily journal entries and maintain accurate financial ledgers
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify account balances
- Assist in preparing periodic financial statements and management reports
- Enter financial data and maintain records using accounting software and Excel
- Review invoices and financial documents to verify accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- Proficiency in recording accounting journal entries and bookkeeping
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliations and account balancing
- Understanding of financial statement preparation
- Ability to work with computerized accounting software
- Previous accounting experience (1-3 years) (preferred)
- Degree in Accounting or a related financial field (preferred)
