Legal & Compliance Manager

Manage the operator’s legal work and compliance with applicable Libyan requirements.

Work pattern

40 hours per week; five eight-hour days, Sunday–Thursday, 08:00–16:00.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on Libyan employment, commercial and corporate-law matters affecting airport operations.

• Draft and review employment offers, contracts, supplier agreements, service contracts and other legal documents.

• Review recruitment and employment procedures for legal compliance and fair treatment.

• Maintain a register of legal obligations, permits, contract deadlines and required corporate filings.

• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory changes and explain their operational implications to management.

• Support corporate governance, Board documentation and company records with the executive office.

• Review claims and disputes, preserve relevant records and coordinate court representation with external lawyers.

• Work with operational specialists on compliance involving safety, security, environment and information protection.

• Advise on confidentiality, contract risks, conflicts of interest and anti-corruption controls.

• Prepare compliance reports, follow up corrective actions and brief employees on relevant legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, with practical knowledge of Libyan employment and commercial law.

• At least 5 years in legal advice, contracts or compliance in Libya.

• Excellent written Arabic and strong English for reviewing contracts and preparing legal correspondence.

Nice to have

• Aviation or infrastructure contract experience.

• Familiarity with international agreements.
