One of the most common things in online job posts: a “registration fee” or a “deposit” before you're hired. The rule is simple: a real employer never asks you for money to get a job.
What we do
- We screen new posts for warning signs and hold flagged posts for review. These checks cannot guarantee that every listing is genuine.
- The verified badge means we checked organization documents. It does not guarantee a job offer or every claim in a listing.
- Recruitment agencies on jobs.ly may never charge job seekers anything: not for registering, not for a CV, not for a placement.
- Your contact details are not shown on public CV pages. See the privacy policy for application access and sharing rules.
What you can do
- Never pay for a job, an interview or “reserving a place”.
- Don't send pictures of your personal documents before you're sure about the organization.
- If a job post looks suspicious, open it and press “Report this job” so our team can review your report.
