In short
- jobs.ly is free for job seekers. Employers can post on the Free plan or pay for more.
- You must be 18 or older. You accept these terms when you create an account, and we record when and which version.
- Be truthful: a real CV, real open jobs, and one account per organization.
- Never pay to get a job. Employers may not ask applicants for money, and agencies may never charge job seekers.
- Employers use applicants' information only for hiring, and keep it safe.
- We check jobs, and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms. You can ask us to review a decision.
- We connect people and jobs, but we are not a party to any hiring and can't guarantee a job. Libyan law applies, and the Arabic text prevails.
A summary to help you read; the full text below is what applies.

1.About these terms
- Who we are: jobs.ly is a product of Libyan Spider (شركة العنكبوت الليبي), which runs it (libyanspider.com). In these terms, "we" means Libyan Spider. Contact: hello@jobs.ly.
- Accepting these terms: you accept them when you create an account, and we record the date and the version you accepted. If you use jobs.ly without an account, for example to search for jobs or to open a client page or shortlist link someone sent you, these terms also apply. If you don't agree, don't use jobs.ly.
- Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
2.Accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account; by signing up you confirm that you are.
- Give accurate information, keep access to your phone or email secure, and don't let others use your account. An organization adds each member of its team with their own account.
- One account per organization. A branch that hires separately may have its own page: choose this when you create it.
3.Job seekers
- jobs.ly is free for job seekers: searching, applying and building a CV never cost anything.
- Your CV must be truthful, and apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in.
- Never pay anyone to get a job, and report any request for money to us.
4.Employers
- Post only real, open jobs that you are allowed to hire for. Posting is free on the Free plan, up to the number of open jobs shown on the plans page.
- Don't ask applicants for money. Messages to applicants must be only about the job they applied for; until your organization is verified, they can't contain links or phone numbers.
- Don't post jobs or screening questions that discriminate based on sex, age, religion, tribe, origin, nationality, marital status, disability or health, unless the law allows that requirement for that job.
- Applicants' data: keep it secure, use it only for hiring, and share it only with the people involved in the decision (for agencies, with the client the job is for). Delete copies you downloaded, such as applicant lists, when you no longer need them, and at the latest 12 months after the job closes. jobs.ly removes your access to an applicant's phone number, email and CV file 12 months after the last job they applied to with you has closed.
- Review links (“Ask your manager”) are only for people inside your organization who take part in the hiring decision; don't forward them to anyone else. Hiring managers you add see only the jobs you add them to, and only to give their opinion.
- Saved candidates: contact them only about real jobs, and stop when they ask.
5.Recruitment agencies and groups
- Recruitment agencies must be verified by jobs.ly and give their own valid licence number before publishing. The Agency plan is only for verified agencies.
- Agencies must never charge job seekers any fee (registration, CV, training or placement).
- Clients: post for a client, and show its name, logo and page, only with its permission. When you add a client, or a company to your group, you confirm that the organization allowed you to recruit for it and to show its name and logo; we may ask you for proof. Send shortlist links and client pages only to the client the job is for; candidates' contact details stay with the agency. Monthly reports emailed to a client's contact contain totals only (no candidates' names) and are sent only after that person agrees.
- Client pages and handover: a recruitment agency may create a page for a client organization only with that organization's permission. If the organization asks jobs.ly for its page, our staff check the request with an official document or an email address on the organization's own domain. If we approve it, we tell the agency in writing, and the agency has 5 working days (Libya calendar) to finish or move that client's open jobs. After that, the page (its name, logo, cover picture, description, benefits, city, field, website and page address) moves to the organization; if the organization already has a page on jobs.ly, the agency's page is removed and its address leads to the organization's page. Jobs for that client that are still open then close, and their applicants are told. The agency keeps its own records for that client (jobs, applicants, notes, fees, invoices and contacts); we don't share them with the organization. The client stays private in the agency's account, and the agency can't post new jobs for it. The agency may hand the page over earlier, and may write to us before the notice ends if it believes the request is wrong.
- Groups of companies: add a company to your group, or recruit for it, only with its authorization; verifying the group doesn't verify its companies. Share review links only with the company the job is for, get separate permission before contacting candidates about other jobs, and get the contact person's consent before sending monthly reports.
- Fees and invoices: fees, guarantees and invoices that an agency issues to its client through jobs.ly are between the agency and its client. jobs.ly is not a party to them and doesn't collect these fees.
6.Paid plans
- Plans: Business, Holding and Agency plans are paid in advance for the months you choose, at the price shown on the plans page when you pay. There is no automatic renewal. The Holding plan is for verified groups, and the Agency plan for verified recruitment agencies. Plan limits count the account's own jobs and its clients' or group companies' jobs together.
- Buying: only the account owner can buy a plan. The plans page shows the ways to pay that are available now. Where it asks you to write to us, write to hello@jobs.ly, and your plan starts when our team confirms your payment. An online payment starts it once the payment provider confirms it, and a bank transfer once our team confirms that the money arrived. Plan invoices are issued by Libyan Spider.
- Prices: launch prices apply for the period stated on the plans page, and paying for 12 months costs the price of 10. We may give free or discounted months, for example to partner agencies, with their conditions in writing.
- Changing plans: moving to a bigger plan before yours ends turns the time left into time on the new plan at the same value. You can't buy a smaller plan while a bigger one still has time left. When a plan ends you are back on Free: nothing is deleted, but you can't add more than Free allows (open jobs, team members, paid extras) until you pay again.
- Refunds: if you paid but your plan didn't start, or you were charged twice, contact us and we will fix it. Our online payment provider can't return payments, so they are refunded as credit: the amount is added to your plan as extra time. A bank transfer can be refunded by bank transfer to the account it came from, or as credit if you prefer. You can stop using a paid plan at any time, but paid time isn't refunded unless jobs.ly is at fault.
7.Content and our permission to use it
- Your content: you keep the rights to what you post (job posts, organization details, logos, CVs). So that jobs.ly can work, you allow Libyan Spider, free of charge and while the content is on jobs.ly, to store, show, translate, format and share it on jobs.ly, in emails and notifications, and in share pictures.
- Job posts: for job posts and organization names and logos, this permission also covers our public jobs API, feeds and careers widget, search engines such as Google, and job-search websites that receive our feeds. You can stop sending your jobs to job-search websites at any time in Organization settings (“Your jobs on other job sites”). You confirm that you have the right to give us this permission, including for logos and texts that belong to others.
- Imported jobs: some jobs on jobs.ly are copied from other websites and public pages, with a link to the original where there is one, and their organization pages have no owner until the organization asks for them (“Is this your organization?”). If a job or page uses your content or your organization's name without permission, report it on the page or write to hello@jobs.ly, and we will review it.
- Responsibility: you are responsible for what you post. AI-written text is a suggestion: review it before publishing. AI helps sort applicants and check jobs for fraud; employers and our staff make the decisions.
- Our content: jobs.ly's articles, help pages, name and brand belong to Libyan Spider. Our public jobs API and feeds may be used under the rules in our developer centre; don't copy jobs.ly's content or people's CVs in bulk in any other way.
8.What is not allowed
- Don't use jobs.ly to deceive people, to take money from job seekers, to send spam, or to collect people's information for anything other than hiring.
- Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, to disrupt jobs.ly, or to get around its limits and checks.
9.Checks, removals and suspension
- Before publishing: before an employer's first job is published, our staff check the organization and its authority to recruit. Recruitment agencies must also be verified and give their licence number.
- Holding a job: we may hold a job for review before or after it is published when our rules or AI checks find signs of fraud, fees, false information or discrimination. AI alone never rejects a job; our staff decide.
- Removal and suspension: we may remove a job, hide a public CV, correct a name, or suspend an organization or account that breaks these terms or the law. Suspending an account also suspends its organization, hides its jobs and cancels its upcoming interviews, and the applicants are told. We tell you the reason, unless that would help fraud or the law forbids it.
- Reports: you can report a job, an organization page, a public CV, a message or an imported job with the report button on it. We review scam reports first.
- If you disagree: reply to our message or write to hello@jobs.ly. We will review the decision again and tell you the result.
10.Our role and responsibility
- Our role: jobs.ly connects job seekers and employers. We are not a party to any job offer or employment, and we can't guarantee a job or a hire. Interview times, offer letters, offers and replies recorded on jobs.ly are between the employer and the applicant. Always be careful, and never pay to get a job.
- Availability: we work to keep jobs.ly available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We don't guarantee that it will always work without interruption or errors, or that information users post is correct.
- Liability: as far as the law allows, Libyan Spider is not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by other users' content or conduct (for example a fake job or an employer's hiring decision). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or gross negligence.
11.Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time from your CV page or Organization settings. Our Privacy policy explains what is deleted at once, what stays for a limited time, and when deletion has to wait.
- We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Paid time isn't refunded when we close an account for that reason.
- Accounts unused for 24 months may be deleted after notices, as our Privacy policy describes.
12.Law, courts and language
- These terms are governed by Libyan law, and the competent courts of Tripoli decide disputes.
- These terms are written in Arabic and English. If the two texts differ, the Arabic text applies.
13.Reporting a security problem
If you find a security problem in jobs.ly, write to security@jobs.ly with the details. Don't access more information than you need to show the problem, don't disrupt the service, and give us time to fix it before telling others.
14.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last update is at the top of this page, and earlier versions are kept with their dates on the page of earlier versions. When a change affects your rights or obligations, people with an account see a notice on the site and are asked to accept the new version, and we record their acceptance. If you don't accept, you can stop using jobs.ly and delete your account.
