About the job
You will lead the organization's supply chain operations from the point of goods readiness for receipt through to accurate delivery at the right locations and times, ensuring maximum product availability, inventory accuracy, rapid movement, cost efficiency, and supporting the category operating model along with Dynamics 365 / WMS.
- Lead the planning and execution of receiving, storage, distribution, inter-branch transfers, replenishment, and stock movement.
- Translate approved demand and allocation plans into measurable daily and weekly supply and fulfillment schedules.
- Ensure product availability across branches and minimize out-of-stock occurrences caused by supply issues or transfer delays.
- Manage central warehouses and drive operational productivity and discipline across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
- Lead the WMS implementation, ensuring readiness of locations, bin addresses, barcodes, units of measure, and storage/picking policies.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical audits, investigating variances and resolving root causes.
- Oversee the transport and distribution network, vehicle scheduling, delivery lead times, shipping costs, and fleet utilization.
- Implement category-based storage and flow management (Men, Women, Kids, and Home) aligned with distribution and branch plans.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising/Planning, Product Management, and Retail teams to align commercial priorities with supply capabilities.
- Collaborate with Buying & Sourcing and the China office regarding shipment readiness dates and receiving priorities, without interfering in commercial purchasing decisions.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply, warehousing, transportation, transfers, and returns.
- Lead the supply team, determining workforce staffing requirements, shift schedules, training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
- Prepare daily and weekly executive reports covering performance metrics, operational bottlenecks, risks, and corrective action plans.
- Support the Go-Live and operational stabilization of Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring its adoption as the primary operational and inventory source of truth.
