Deputy Aviation Security Manager

Support airport security coordination and quality control.

Work pattern

40 hours per week; five eight-hour days, Sunday–Thursday, 08:00–16:00. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required; duty hours and rest are adjusted.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and review of the approved Airport Security Programme and related operator procedures.

• Plan security-supervisor coverage with the rostering specialist and review shift reports and outstanding concerns.

• Coordinate with authorised State security services and other providers on screening, access control and incident arrangements.

• Oversee airport identification-pass applications, records and access changes with the authorised issuing body.

• Coordinate approved security inspections, tests and exercises, and maintain the required records.

• Track security non-conformities, assign follow-up through the responsible owners and verify corrective-action evidence.

• Monitor checkpoint and security-equipment readiness and coordinate fault escalation and approved fallback arrangements.

• Maintain security training and competence records with the responsible teams and providers.

• Support security incident response, evidence preservation and reporting through the designated channels.

• Prepare security performance and quality-control reports while protecting confidential security information.

• Support security requirements for contractors, tenants, deliveries and changes to airport facilities.

• Act for the Security Manager when delegated, within the approved division of operator and State-service responsibilities.

Requirements

• Relevant security diploma or professional training.

• At least 4 years in aviation security or similar security operations, including supervision.

• Arabic and operational English; knowledge of aviation-security procedures, incident escalation and quality control.

• Aviation-security management or supervisor training.
