Aviation Security Supervisor (Operator Liaison)

Monitor airport security arrangements on shift and coordinate with the security-service lead.

Work pattern

48 hours per week across six eight-hour days, with a rotating rest day. Shifts: 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00 and 22:00–06:00. Relief staff cover breaks and handovers.

Responsibilities

• Check security-service readiness at the start of the shift and review outstanding incidents and corrective actions.

• Monitor passenger, baggage, cargo, mail, supply and vehicle screening arrangements delivered by authorised services.

• Check access points, patrol arrangements and airport-pass use against approved procedures.

• Verify checkpoint and security-equipment status, report faults and coordinate approved fallback measures.

• Channel operational requests and staffing concerns through the security-service shift lead.

• Record security non-conformities and follow up action with the responsible service and airport management.

• Coordinate incident, alarm and threat notifications with the security-service lead, Duty Manager and Security Manager.

• Protect incident information and support evidence preservation under approved procedures.

• Carry out approved spot checks, tests and drills within assigned authority.

• Maintain shift logs, compare relevant service reports and provide a complete handover.

• Escalate unresolved risks promptly and provide security performance information for management review.

Requirements

• Relevant security training or equivalent security experience.

• At least 2 years in security or airport operations, including supervision or coordination.

• Arabic and operational English; aviation-security knowledge and accurate incident reporting.

• Complete required airport training, assessments and access approvals before working independently.

• Availability for rotating eight-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

• Airport security supervision experience or relevant aviation-security training.
