Terminal Operations Manager

Manage passenger-terminal readiness, services and operational performance.

Work pattern

40 hours per week; five eight-hour days, Sunday–Thursday, 08:00–16:00. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required; duty hours and rest are adjusted.

Responsibilities

• Plan terminal operations, staffing and resource needs against the flight schedule and expected passenger demand.

• Lead terminal supervisors and oversee passenger-service and parking teams.

• Establish terminal operating procedures and service standards, and ensure staff receive the required training.

• Coordinate passenger flows, queues, accessible routes and allocation of terminal facilities with the relevant teams.

• Oversee cleaning, housekeeping and other terminal providers, checking contracted standards and corrective actions.

• Review terminal inspections and coordinate repairs to facilities, equipment and passenger areas.

• Monitor passenger information, complaint handling, special-assistance coordination and VIP arrangements.

• Maintain evacuation readiness and coordinate terminal responses to disruptions, alarms and emergencies.

• Coordinate terminal changes, works and new service openings with operations, maintenance, security and airlines.

• Review parking performance, traffic issues and revenue-control concerns with Parking and Finance.

• Track service performance, recurring defects and complaints, and implement improvements.

• Prepare terminal reports, budget inputs and staffing recommendations for the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma, or equivalent terminal or passenger operations experience.

• At least 5 years in airport/terminal operations, including supervisory responsibility.

• Fluent Arabic and working English; passenger-flow management, team supervision and emergency coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience opening terminals or managing service providers.
