Is jobs.ly free for job seekers?
Yes. Creating an account, building a CV and applying for jobs are free for job seekers. Employers and recruitment agencies must not charge you to apply. Report any request for an application fee.
How do I build my CV?
You can enter your experience and skills yourself. When AI assistance is available, you can also upload an existing CV or answer a few questions to create a draft. Review the information, add another language if you need it, and download your CV as a PDF.
How do I apply for a job?
Follow the method shown in the job post. For applications on jobs.ly, sign in as a job seeker, complete your CV and answer any required questions before sending. Other jobs use email, a website, WhatsApp or a phone call. Applications sent outside jobs.ly are not tracked in your jobs.ly applications list.
How do job alerts work?
Save a search or enable CV-based alerts. When relevant new jobs are found, alerts are combined into at most one daily update through the available notification channels enabled for your account. You can also check suggestions under My jobs → For you.
Who can see my CV and contact details?
Your CV is not public by default. When you apply on jobs.ly, the hiring team can review your CV according to its permissions. Access to contact details depends on the review stage and permissions. If you enable a public CV link, it does not show your phone number or email. Our privacy guide explains hiring-team, agency and support access.
What happens when I apply through an agency?
The agency recruits for a client and may share your CV with that client through jobs.ly. The client’s shortlist view does not include your phone number or email. Applying is free. Permission to consider you for other jobs is separate, and you can withdraw it from your application.
