When you're told

You get a message when you're shortlisted, offered the job, hired or not selected. Interviews come with a calendar invite and a reminder the day before.

The employer's messages arrive in “Messages”, and the latest one shows under your application with “Open the conversation”. More in Messages with employers.

“A tip from jobs.ly”

If you're not selected, the message may come with a tip from jobs.ly, which also shows under that application in My jobs → “Applied”: up to 3 skills the job asks for that your CV doesn't show. If you have them, add them with “Update your CV”: it helps with your next applications.

The tip is from jobs.ly. It doesn't mean these skills were the employer's reason, and it isn't made by AI: we only compare the skills the job asks for with your CV. Under your application, the list gets shorter as you add them, and there's no tip when your CV shows all of the job's skills.

Withdrawing an application

Under My jobs → “Applied”, press “Withdraw application”. The box says what it closes, such as an interview or offer, and whether you can apply for the same job again. Once you confirm, you have a short time to undo before it's withdrawn.
